Hiya,
I notice that Quidco offer cashback on home insurance with various companies. Does anyone know if 'home insurance' means Building insurance AND Contents insurance, or will I still get the cashback from just taking out Contents insurance only?

It depends on the Company. I think that some companies are offering, say, £120 on Building & Contents, or £60 on one or the other. Some are offering it on one or the other (but I would expect this to change!). So when you've logged on and then go through to the merchant, it will say there. I think NatWest were offering £120 on just one or the other. Unsure if they are now.
Don't forget to clear your cookies before you go through Quidco to the merchant's site. (You probably know this!)

Yeah I noticed that some say X for Contents, Y for Building, Z for Both, but most seem to just say 'X for Home Insurance'.

Anyone had any success claiming the 'home insurance' fee on just contents? Renewal date is rapidly approaching!!0

I did with separate policies going through Quidco and using Barclays.
Was already with them, renewal quoted for £346 for both. So I got quotes for two separate policies.
At the time Quidco were offering £125 per policy with Barclays. My new quotes worked out at £108 for Buildings, and £122 for Contents. Thus a total of £230 for the year.
Three months later I received 2 x £125 from Barclays / quidco for the two policies, meaning Barclays paid me £20 to insure this year.
Just check out if there are any conditions, but you should be ok. And remember that if it doesn't track you will have a cooling off period anyway.Financial Aims for 2012:

I got the full amount for Buildings only with CIS (£60), and I also got the full amount for Contents only with Nationwide (£75).
These were the only companies that would cover me fully online (living in an area at risk of subsidence).Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
