Petrol Cap - help please

Filling up the other day, left petrol cap on roof and drove off! It turned out to be cracked but I still used it. I went to fill up today and it came to pieces when I tried to fill up. Where will I be able to get replacement cap? its a twist/key operated one so will I have to get one specially made? My car is Corsa Breeze 'R' reg 1ltr. Don't want to go to dealership as I guess they will charge the earth. Any help appreciated.
xx

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
You can replacement ones from Halfords/Motor World/other leading motor stores - although they won't fit your key or be body coloured - a temporary measure I guess but I've been told you shouldn't drive a vehicle without a fuel tank cap as it lets too much air mix when the fuel gets pumped through the system (it may apply just to diesels?!).

Not the greatest of help, but I'm sure someone on here will be able to give more information.

Alternatively, you could look up breakers yards for one.Or yellow pages under "car and
commercial vehicle dismantlers" would give you prices and availability. You might need to get a key cut for it as dismantlers may want the key to go with the engine if it is a dual purpose one.
THe ones from Halfords etc usualy don't have keys at all.Not a problem from the point of having fuel stolen as all cars are fitted with anti siphoning kits. The cap
    usually looks pants though.
