Cheep insurance

Be carefull of cheep insurance. I did it and payed a lot more than expected.

I had wind screen cover but when mine broke i was not coved.

I hit an animal while caused over one thousand pound worth of damage. Again no cover even though i had pay for full comp.

Some one hit me and ran off another thousand pounds i had to find.

I now only use a broker i hope that i will never have problems again.

Wow, you are rather an unlucky person

There is an organisation called the MIB which might help you in the scenario above with an uninsured or untraceable driver.

Im really confused as to the reasons why you state this happened?!

What company where you with? What is the reason why you werent covered when you hit an animal.
Why when someone hit you did it cost you thousands of pounds?

Thanks for all the advice but all i can say is it was a few years ago and as far as i am concered when i take out full comp car insurance i expact it to cover all eventualitys.

The reason it cost over one thound pounds is the guy that smashed into me was trying to overtake me when i was doing the speed limit. He pulled out removing my rear light then pulled into my drivers door. So i had to fix the rear and replace my door. Try driving at the speed limit most people hate it.

I was even more supprised that taking his reg number to the police was a waste of time. The only said i should claim on my insurance. Shame that did not work.

Sorry i can not remeber the reson they gave for not fixing the car when i hit an animal all i know is that i had to take out a loan as the front of the car was gone.

Sorry, but if you were fully comp then all those should be covered.

In short, I think you are lying. Either that, or only had 3rd party.

Sorry you do not beleave me but it did happen. I put it down to cheep car insurance. One year i am almost posative i had no cover.

I have spoken to the police about finding out if you have cover and all they say is you only find out when you make a claim!!!!

I am afraid you are talking rubbish.
You can find out what cover you've got from your insurance certificate, schedule and policy booklet and it's a legally binding contract.

Sorry but your story is not very believable.
Insurance companies wriggle like mad when it comes to liability and valuations but they are not well known for refusing valid claims outright.

But i have a motor certificate at the minute. It was printed on a laser printer. I have no way of knowing if this is geuine.
