Virgin CC - Repayment Plan Advice Needed!

Hey guys, I have got myself into a bit of a state. I have around £3200 worth of debt on my virgin card that I stupidly got as a student. I have struggled to pay the minimum each month and have missed many payments so my credit score must be an absolute mess but recently they have upped my interest to 30% almost doubling my minimum repayment on just the interest to something I just can't afford.

The good news is, I have been in work now for almost 7 months and am on a graduate scheme which is giving me steady wage increases and I am doing well enough that I know my job is secure. The bad news is my starting salary is pretty low and I am living in Norwich which is quite an expensive area so I am struggling quite a lot!

I was wondering, would Virgin maybe work out a repayment plan for me to try and help if I called them? If so, what kind of things should I expect/ask for in a repayment plan? I am a bit out of my depth with it all but I am sure some people on here would have some advice for me and I would be really greatful to hear it. I would also love to hear from anyone who has tried the same with Virgin to see how they got on.

Thanks in advance guys!

I would suggest that Virgin won't work out anything for you.
If you ring them they may reduce the interest rate to say 18% still very high.
You need to get yourself along to the Citizen's Advice Bureau they will negotiate on your behalf with Virgin and they will work out a repayment plan for you.
Their help is free and is probably the best and quickest way to sort all this out and start receiving some sound practical help .
Go there in the morning asap. They are in most large towns.
    good luck.
