IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:j:money:0 -
I'm making bunting out of wallpaper as it's so supercheap to get large quantities, very durable and comes in so many colours!
I also made my 'bunts' rectangular, just to be a bit different, and am jazzing it up with ribbons.
This is the prototype length, of small pieces to go along the front of the top table (apologies for the poor cameraphone pic!)
Super-easy to make, just go out and buy a few rolls of cheap wallpaper,
make a cardboard template to draw around for sizing,
cut out each piece twice the size you want it,
fold in half and glue (remember to leave a gap at the fold for the string!, very important!)
trim the edges (if your cutting out is like mine!)
I used a paper punch to round the corners off
thread string through the fold of each one (I used a dowel to push it through)
cut lengths of ribbon and knot loosely over the sting between each piece
you could also use beads, buttons, flowers, anythnig you like to brighten it up and personaliseLife on a shoestring!0 -

Don't know the original poem, but how about

Please take a pair; they're yours to keep!'
