I know we dont like calling ngn numbers unless we really have to
But have you noticed ,if you havent got inclusive peak and weekday evening minutes to 01/02/03 numbers, and you dont use 1899 etc for your geographical calls it will be cheaper to call a 0845 number then a geographical number at all times now other then weekend from the 1/4/2008.
BT charge 2p peak, 0.5p offpeak with a 6p connection charge to call 0845.
From the 1/4/2008 BT will charge 4p peak , 1.5p offpeak with a 6p connection charge to call 01/02/03 numbers other then at weekends when they are inclusive.

That is because they increased the 01/02/03 call charges by 1900% for a one hour call.
No that's not a typo, "one thousand and nine hundred %"0 -
I wish I'd negotiated commission with Primus and 18185 a year or so ago!Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

But it could be against the rules here.0
