Good Morning all

I bought a item off ebay lastnight and paid striaghtaway by paypal
I got email off Paypal saying
Dear Jaffa ( changed the name ),

This email confirms that you, jaffa (changed name ), have paid ******@******.com
51.50 GBP using PayPal.

Yet in my ebay its saying payment pending.
I used funds in my paypal account to pay.
I thought once you sent the money it was excepted so i am lost on this one.

The lad is a new seller but has bought a lot of stuff before.

I've had this before as a seller - paypal was showing that the payment had been made but ebay showed the payment as pending. It seems the interface between eBay and PayPal doesn't always work. Whatever paypal shows is the true state of the payment. However, it wouldn't do any harm to drop the seller a note just to see if everything looks okay from their end.

Paypal say the money has been sent from my end but the payment is unclaimed.

I will email the lad and tell him he has to claim the money.

Did you use your cerdit card tosend paypal payment? If so could be that he needs to upgrade his account to accept these kinds of payment

ie had 100 in paid 50 , 50 left in my account
