National Insurance - Can I stop it!

Hi everyone - I am a flight attendant working in the UK but living permanently in Ireland.
I pay National Insurance and just wondered if there was a way around this considering the fact that i don't live in the UK. I do long haul flights and once land back in London I return home for my days off.
Any help here would be so apprecaited.
Regards

When you are paid in the UK, I believe you have to pay NI in the UK.0

Presumably you pay UK income tax so you'd have to pay UK NI.0

You can only get out of paying in UK if you are already paying NI in Ireland. There is an EU agreement covering this.0
