I am simply stating that why should one person take the entire shelf load of bargin products and not leave any for others. Had i been in the postion of the poster i would have taken a few but not all. I would want others to benefit from the bargin to, maybe thats my good nature coming through. I am pleased that the poster cleared the shelf and got themselves some cheap chocolates - just a thought for others would have been nice.

I apologise if my previous post seemed harsh - I just speak how I find things.

All of those concerned MSErs who have been kept awake at night worrying about the poor Abingdon-based bargain hunters getting no choccies from Tescos can now sleep easy in the knowledge that the shelf I cleared over a week ago seems to be restocked regularly (judging by the stock levels the past 3 times I've been down the choccy aisle), therefore allowing anyone who wishes to get in on as much (or as little) of the bargain as they like.

Honestly, all this fuss and people getting themselves wound up for nothing!

They won't know what to do with themselves now there's nothing to whinge about...

if you want some bargain chocs, and theyve run out of lindt, there is a HUGE box of tesco finest, in a beautiful pink padded heart shaped box for 5.49. have just posted on main site, just in case .

In our local I bought some of these chocs back in mid Jan at £1.59, so could be that your store has already got through it's allocated cheap stash.

Had these today in the Greenock store. I got 4 but there were still more than a dozen left. Price marked at £1.59 though so be quick:D

i want cheap chocolate (stamps feet, lies on floor in choccy aisle screaming) ok maybe that was a bit far but 1 box would be nice may be oh has got me one for tomoz (fingers crossed) for that price though i would expect two) lol

only the small 4.99 left in Osterley. I didn't even see a space for them on the shelf..

Have the chocs in Tesco's Sheldon (Coventry Road, Bham). I got 6 boxes last night (for Easter gifts) - 3 milk and 3 dark collection - priced at £1.59 & £1.69. Price on the shelf was £8.49 and next to them was the smaller 'reduced' box. There were still around 10 boxes left.
