Thanks Emptybowl!
I got 16 boxes of these in Abingdon Tescos, they went through at £1.59 a box - I'll hand them out as easter presents instead of eggs!:DBefore you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? He's a mile away and you've got his shoes.0 -
I went to the Tescos at the Cowley retail park this morning and they had none left  Were there any boxes left at the Abingdon branch Wignula?0

It might be an idea to keep looking.
I've just been and found a carton with 6 boxes of chocs on top of the shelving unit. Rather cheekily, I empied it out, putting 4 into my trolley and 2 onto the shelf, which prior to my visit, was empty of stock.
Easy peasy. Lemon squeezy. The manager spotted me and immediately offered me a job. I start full-time on Monday. Hehehehehe.0 -
Wow DocProc! Can't be bad to be headhunted while getting a bargain or two!:j
Ok I will keep trying. Don't have much hope though. Would order online but I suspect they'd be out of stock and then substituted for something full price0 -
Ahem, Tiara, I might've had them all away...
You wouldn't believe the attention my trolley was attracting, people were actually gasping out loud as I walked by because I had so many of them (it did get a little embarassing after a while and with only a loaf of bread to cover them up I wasn't very successful at hiding them)! I only bought 7 (the front carton) at first but thought that at £1.59 I might as well have the rest but when I removed the next carton there was another one behind that and I couldn't exactly leave those there! The shelves might have been restocked now (and maybe there are some still there as they are kind of hidden/discrete).
They were on the bottom shelf below the smaller Lindt box looking very insignificant and marked at £3.19 - so passers by didn't see what a bargain they were missing! :rotfl:Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? He's a mile away and you've got his shoes.0 -

Is there any need to be so selfish - by taking all that was available you were taking the opportunity away from someone else benefiting from this bargin.
You should be ashamedLove a charity shop bargain0 -

lol I can imagine the loaf of bread didn't do a very good job of trying to hide them! I assume they are trying to shift old stock to make way for new packagingso doubt they will restock them, but thanks for replying, might be worth a look just to check.
