In my new home there is a Wolsey Electronics Sapphire Amplifier in the loft. (The previous people tried to wire most rooms in the house for TV reception). The amp has 1 'full output' and 8 'padded outputs'. Could someone please tell me what this means? Thanks in advance.

I would sugest asking in the 'Amp's sub forum on the avforums: http://www.avforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=130
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
Not sure that forum will be much help - it's an aerial amp, not a home cinema amp!
I ~think~ full output is designed to allow an InfraRed remote to work without needing a separate bypass. If you're not using an IR device then I don't think it's important.0 -
That might be the wrong sub-forum but AVforums is definately a good place to ask. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
