Folks. I'm confused. I've read the stuff on here about Conran cutting its cashback to 0.5%, but having spoken (twice) to Conran, I simply don't know where this is coming from
This is the official line from Conran (just been emailed to me from the powers that be)
"When the Conran Card started, the value of one profit share was 80 pence (0.8%) on purchases outside Conran ventures. However, for the last three years a single profit share has been valued at one pound and there is no plan to change this in the forseeable future."
If anyone can explain to me where the idea that it is dropping its cashback comes from, i'd be grateful

I think this idea originates from unintelligible diverchris's post #301 in 'Cashback Credit Card Discussion Area ' thread. It was his first and the only post ...MSE_Martin wrote:If anyone can explain to me where the idea that it is dropping its cashback comes from, i'd be grateful0 -
I hope the cashback is still ok and would like to know ASAP if it's not. After I max out on my AMEX platinum I fall back on Conran each month. I seem to have a good little system going on, especially after I ditched the Citibank fiasco.0
