My siggy only has 5 lines, I've just gone to edit it and it won't let me, even though I'm not adding a line.

It could be number of characters that you have, only 300 allowed in new sigs and yours looks close to that so even if you are not adding lines you may have reached the limit of number of letters and spaces.0
