Had some chicken breast fillets that had to be consumed on the day i wanted to use them for tea. Opened the packet and the smell  , clearly they were already off.
Rang customer services right away and reported the problem, they just needed the barcode, date it had to be used by and the 3 captial digits. Told i would receive a letter of apology and was thanked for contacting them about the issue.
Yesterday i received a letter of apology with a card to use in store that has £8 on it.
Really surprised about how quick i got a reply and didn't expect an £8 store credit at all. Best of all, found something new, the card with the £8 on it, is reuseable, you just ask the store to top it up and it can be used to buy anything from the store at all.

New Year resolution is to stop using Morrisons, which although a 5 minute walk from my front door, is the worst supermarket in the country.
I am now using ASDA, 6 miles away. Virtually everything is cheaper, the choice of products is better, the quality of the fruit n veg is infinitely superior, the queues are shorter and the customer service superb.
I wish I'd switched years ago. :money:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
