If you dont like your cheapo shampoo it`s great for cleaning the bath out,I used to buy the no frills massive bottle of apple shampoo for about 25p just to use in the bathroom as a cleaner.

I now get Asda`s own cheap version of head and shoulders and I find it just as good but with a better price.I`m not bothered about hiding the fact it`s a cheap one.More people should give the stores own cheaper brands a try,you`ll be surprised how somethings are just as good if not better than the branded named goods.

Hi, not a hairdresser or a trichologist, but I am a beauty therapist.

I use tesco value shampoo (29p/1ltr) and I find that it is fine, even with the cheap conditioner, though as you say your hair is a bit stressed atm, I would keep doing what you're doing - cheap shampoo, decent conditioner.

cleansers and shampoos are just 'detergents' with which to clean the skin/hair. You don't have to spend a fortune on them, as long as you use decent moisturiser/conditioner it should be fine
