Hi,
I'm trying to plan next years holiday to Tuscany. Sussed out that I can get a cheap flight courtesy of Ryan Air to Pisa & will do a trawl through the car Hire Companies to find a competative price.
What I'm seeking is information on accomodation in the area & the season to go.
Our main aim is to see the countryside, especially the Sunflowers in bloom.
So if anyones been there, I'd be greatful for any advice.

Recently spent 10 days in Tuscany. & days in gorgeous apartment converted from farmouse near San Gimangiano - https://www.ilcastagno.net Really well situated- see web site. The spent three days in Florence at Hotel Delle Nazioni. Nice hotel but quite noisy with windows open (a/c only operates June onwards). Used Liberty car hire at Pisa airport but i would recommend that if you do want Florence, dump the car back at airport and go in by Ryanair bus or the train.
