Hope Im in the right place. 1st timer !
Im looking to replace my ITV digital box (ssshhh) Because signal is so poor after replacing all other elements. Then I read that if you have a BT broadband connection you can get a free Digital box recorder with twin tuner. Although free turns out to mean 3 choices the last is fit it yourself for £30. Only thing is I cant find out what the box is or if its any good ?
The deal sounds good, but can we get round the £30 ?

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

I have this and am very please with it but you need a BT Broadband Home Hub (I think). Forget the £30 fee as connection is very simple and straightforward. I believe you may also need to be on a (18 month) contract to receive the free recorder and don't forget the free hub phone.0
