spicing things up when DH is gone

....well, really when he comes back. my DH(married 3 1/2yrs, no kids) goes abroad for work quite a lot, (though not for very long periods of time), and i tend to spend most of the time he's away slobbing about in my pjs, eating junk, and not doing the washing up!! (yay!, lol). I have a part time job but the rest of the time i am stuck in the house on my own.:(

...so when he comes back I just tend to just talk and talk about nothing really as i am attention starved and he is usually tired, but not 'that' tired if you know what i mean;)

what i really want to ask is how do i make our reunions more special and well, romantic? any tips?

  • Romantic meals and sexy underwear spring to mind - but could get abit repetative if he goes away often and when you both know what to expect it loses the excitment. How about themeing your evenings if youve got some time on your hands, get dressed up/ meal to suit theme etc? Have sex text whilst hes away telling him what you are going to do to him on his return? Give yourself a pamper night the night before his return so you feel special for him? Hope that helps xx
  • Instead of texting, wouldn't it be more romantic if you sent him letters?

Another thing that strikes me is that you should really try and get out when he's away...what about an evening class to learn a new skill or hobby etc?
