PSP problems

I have recently bought a New 1 gig SanDisk memory card for my PSP. When i got the memory card the first thing i did was format it in my PSP, from there i transfered music, photos and a demo from my Mac using Mac OSX 10.4 and a Standard usb cable this work fine leaving me with 59MB left on my card.

I have now come to delete some of the items off my memory card to free up space. I can delete the items fine and they no longer show up on my psp or Mac but my Memory status stays the same its says i have 59MB left, stopping me from adding anything else to my PSP.

Can any one help :eek: or does any know of a help website for this sort of thing. it's driving me nuts.

    Did you empty your trash can on the mac?

    The Mac doesn't actually delete the files until you empty the trash.

    Hope it's that simple.
