Hi - hope someone can answer this.
I'm a single parent working p/t and in receipt of tax credits. I have started uni and have just received notification of my funding (better late than never!!) Anyway, just contacted tax credits and they said my student finance is not taken into account. Is this true?? I knew the grant element isn't but I thought the loan element was for all benefits. Not that I'm not confident in their ability to give out correct information or anything?? ??? I'm hoping to keep my job for at least this year so if my funding isnt taken into account the finances wont be too stretched - just my time :P Thanks in advance!
