I have received an email this morning telling me a request for payment from my bank account on the 7th Nov has been returned to Paypal today 1st Feb as they dispute the DD
Firstly the option to pay from my bank account has never been there, it is always lightly greyed out , when I pay it goes to my Paypal account first and then to my credit card
The transaction they are talking about went through to my credit card, Paypal payment email confirms this and it is showing on credit card statement dated 19th Nov
The email today states do not go back to them about this as it is my banks problem ?? I have spoken to my bank, they agree the necessary verification was done and a DD is in situ so suggest it is Paypal, but how has it taken nearly 3 months to unearth something that isnt a problem.
I have a nil balance with Paypal [deliberately] and the only thing that has ever worked is transferring funds to or from my bank account??
Anybody else had any communications like this recently ??
