Hello,
some months ago i posted that my LA had not had the gas boiler/fire serviced in August when the certificate ran out.
Since then i've contacted them numerous times and kept being told that someone would be with me soon.
In December i finally gave up and contacted the council (after advice from here)
I recieved an email from the council today saying that they wrote to the agents, giving them 14 days to reply, so far, nothing. They have now e-mailed them.
Does anyone know what happens from here? how much more time will they allow? the certificate is now 6 months out of date:eek:
Also, what could the reasons be for not having this done? it seems odd that a job thats so cheap (someone told me it costs about £50) isn't done. I'm getting worried now as there has been no contact fromt he agents at all for over 6 months, whereas previously they came round and checked the property etc.
Thanks

The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter
