  • Thanks Mrs Dawn, I really felt that hug!! I really want to tell him but it makes me feel sick whenever I think about it. I am so used to coping, I hate the idea of him trying to bail me out. But i know you are right. x
  • Hi Sylviemylove,

Please don't worry about being judged here, we're all in the some boat.

And please put all thoughts of ending it all out of your mind - remember it's only money! You've taken a big step posting on here and you'll soon see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.:grouphug:

  • Hi, I can't answer your questions and perhaps you already do this but can you reduce any of your other outgoings, groceries etc..?? (I've recently reduced my bills all round and it's amazing how much you can save) Have you got anything to sell? These aren't the magic answers but every penny counts. There is so much support on here, you've made the biggest move by starting to sort things out before they get any worse. Good luck.

  • Thanks Kitty and monkey 22, I am very frugal with money these days, strange as that may sound! and tend to cook everything from scratch, but for me its the things that my son needs that ends up costing a fortune. Must start trying freecycle as previously suggested. Well its tea time for 1 yr olds now so I better run. I will log on tomorrow to see if there are anymore handy tips. Thanks again, all! x
  • It's worth remembering, especially with kids things, that people may actively WANT to give them to you via freecycle. When my kids grew out of stuff I really hated throwing out things that I didn't feel I could take to the charity shop because they had minor faults - button missing, zip needing stitching up, that sort of thing - so they sat in bags for ages till the moths took the decision out of my hands!
