  • Hi everyone,
I think it will be a NSD today, stupid car wouldn't start this morning, probably due to the torrential rain we've had & the fact I hardly use it so the battery has gone flat!! Worst thing is I had a survey to do at 9.30, luckily got a lift there & walked back at least 2 miles!! to save money on the bus:p
Got £20 in tescos gift cards for the survey, which I was stopped in the street for last week so very happy, was going to get some shopping with the gift card today, but obviously can't get there now:mad:
So I will be taking my car battery off in a minute & putting it on charge, hope I don't blow myself up
Came home to a prize I won in December a lovely Alfa Romeo watch & a card for another parcel, can't pick up until tomorrow from main post office, but obviously the car is dead:eek:
What with my Son being sick the other day, someone really didn't want me to do this survey:p
Why does everything happen at once:confused: Sorry rant over:rotfl:
    Good luck everyone:A
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

  • Happy Birthday Poorbabe! :D I hope you have a good one :).

Yesterday ended up being a NSD :D but today not so much,

I spent 75p in tesco on the way into work - Tomato Puree and hulahoops - the puree was a neccessity to make my storecupboard work, but the hulahoops were pure, indulgent greed. They were NUMMY though :D.

I might spend another 55p on a Diet Coke at lunch; I'm swithering and today is feeling awful long already... Anyway, I've £1.25 left in my purse until Monday, so that's all I can spend :D

    Happy birthday Poorbabe!

I'm going to have to fill the car with diesel today, otherwise, I'll be walking everywhere this weekend. Other than that, hopefully nothing!
    Overpay!
  • Need to get dd some track suit trousers for school so I don't know how much they will got, also need swimming trunks for ds1 and ds2 and a birthday card.

Haven't managed to get to the shop so don't know the damage yet, but definitely not a NSD for me (Grrr.)

well so far I have spent
£8 on f&v at the market (10kg spuds, 4 red peppers and 9 apples),
£3 in a charity shop (two pairs of trousers for DD and a jumper for DS)
and 50p in a car park cos DS was kicking up a fuss about going to school and made us late (plus I knew I had to carry the spuds back to the car).

Am planning on taking DD to soft play which is £1 (but shes still asleep and its getting late) plus about £3 for petrol but I will do a big shop while Im there at the huge supermarket so the petrol money should earn itself in bulk buy savings compared to our tiny Tescos.
