We live in a new build house and have just added a garage. our ridge tiles are held down by a plastic section that fits between each of the tiles and is then screwed a lath below. The only cement on the roof is at the end (mostly for looks). Both the house and garage are the same (you can see the plastic pieces between the tiles) I know that this is the "correct" way to do it these days as my Dad is a foreman and was the one tiling the garage roof with me. :-)

    Hi all

We live in a new build (built approx 4 years ago).

It will be a DRY RIDGE(not cemented) clipped in a plastic track and screwed down with Stainless steel screws.

Contact NHBC who will start the claims process, who was the builder?

    Life's way too short!
