We have double glazing but it is an old house with high ceilings, so needs a bit to heat it up nicely. Since this windy weather, somehow, somewhere, there is a wind, and I mean a wind, coming in through the dining room into the sitting room somehow! What are the most likely places for it to be coming from?
:hello:  please play nicely children !

I've been going round checking. We did have a problem with the french doors, but a man came out and adjusted them and they are fine now. We think it must be coming up from under the floor or through the cavity somehow because it has direction, its not just cold air that is sitting there.
We had a radiator put it before christmas and we had some messing about with rerouting some of the pipework and some pipes are exposed (waiting to be boxed in) and there is a small hole where it comes up from the floor and goes into the ceiling so I think it must be that, but it has to be seen to be believed!!!
I think I am going to stuff some newspaper in the gaps and see if that makes a difference.:hello:  please play nicely children !0 -
Crikey, the wind is so bad now it sounds like there is a werewolf round the back door.:hello:  please play nicely children !0
