hi i had horrendous times going dress shopping, one shop looked at me with complete contempt as i walked through the door, then expected me to spend a fortune on a dress i held in front of me facing a mirror i mean as if!
another tried to sell me one they were getting rid of they were really desparate, even lied that they could ease it out (it was only about 6 inches too small). The first time i tried one on in one shop i was asked was i loosing weight, and if so how much would i lose by Mar, then kept telling me how they put extra panels in one girls dress cos she turned up 7 mths pregnant and no one knew (well i do now).
Then i found a lovely shop and they repaired a lot of the damage, but i just couldn't get beyond the fact one did up. They thought it was bad that i'd got to the stage that i didn't ever expect to find a dress.
