gatita - have you managed to get your order through yet?
I've even emptied my basket, logged out and started again but it doesn't want to play!!0 -
I've been trying again.. and again.. and again.. and I've just had a phone call from my credit card company as the transactions are registering with them each time, but not with WHSmith.
I've told the credit card company what happened, so I shouldn't be charged so long as all the orders don't materialise.
 good job they are small amounts cos I must have clicked "place order" about 30 times now!! No call from my CC company though :rolleyes:0 -

I have just contacted my CC company and I have currently 5 x 87p purchases!! At least they aren't all going through but it will mean we have to claim back our cash if they stay on the account.
Thanks for the heads-up klb0 -

I'm not sure if this link will work or whether it will update with the current page but here it is at £5 http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:YkY8CyFVrRUJ:www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndSearch/ProductDetails.aspx%3FproductID%3D32541724+The+Great+British+Menu+Cookbook+review&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=5&gl=uk
Now that the deal is over it has shot up to £15, even though it was only £5 before the deal.
Also, the Gordon Ramsey book is now £15, but you can get it instore for a tenner. And Jamie's Journal is now £5.99 online, but only £1.99 instore.
The DIY book (due in this sale later) is currently £16.50 online, but I've just seen it instore for £6.
Are they trying to make all the books look even better value in the sale
by making them much more expensive out of it?0 -
