Orders going to UK addresses should be delivered within 1-3 working days of dispatch
Wrong quote, but it's on the delivery terms bit if you click 'free delivery' on the home page it tells you roughly when. I should imagine these orders may take a little longer due to the volume.
EaTA Gordon Ramsay showing delivery time of 4 or more weeks now, both my orders for it show this (one is for my mum, one for me in the true MSE style of justifying buying more than 1 of anything on offer!). I placed one order at just after 12 and 1 at just before 1."A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

Good thinking, you've inspired me! I'm waiting for the DIY book and will be making up a toolkit hamper for my son's birthday, might encourage him to leave home :rotfl:0 -

Great!!! Thanks for listing these!
There was only two things I would've wanted anyway - the two cookbooks, and I've bagged them between 11.00-12.00 and 12.00-1.00.
I can now leave the computer and not bother to check foer the rest of the afternoon!
Quite sunny where I am, so off for a walk in anticipation of burning some calories before these books arrive and I end up putting on 3 stone with the tasty recipes!

 Really annoyed!!!!
Tried for over 40 minutes to but the Gordon Ramsey book..but after adding it into my basket it wouoldn't let me get past the 'click to continue shopping / checkout /something else' button, or kept coming up with error messages. And then it kept locking my computer up so would not do anything else. So had to keep swirtching the modem on/off!
Finally the website appeared to free up just after 1.00 (oddly enough) then it said that I could not proceed with a quantity of '0' in my basket...although it was showing as having 1 in there???
Opened up a new tab and it was showing as oos!!!! BUT in my basket it still said that it was available??!!
Did anyone see it go out of stock?? or once the clock strikes on the hour do you think WHS marks it as oos and you can't buy anymore?
Really really frustrated as I managed to order a couple of notebooks this morning ok. This was the most shocking website experience I have had..really wanted that book for that price as well as I need help in the kitchen! and with free delivery to store as well made it a good bargain.
Going to go away now and count to 10!0
