IB Bank Payment Stating Advice Confirmed?

Hi

Does anybody know what is meant when they put by your IB Payment that they pay into your bank Advice Confirmed with a number underneath it?

I rung then up yesterday to ask if they received my Med 4 form through the post so I could get my ext lot of IB.They had to receive it & they said that it should be in the bank yesterday or today.I checked my bank statement online this morning & they paid it in yesterday.

It normally says somthing like: DWP IB & Amount paid but this time it said: Advice Confirmed with a mixture of letters & numbers underneath & the amount they normally pay me.

Does anyone know what is meant by Advice Confirmed etc?

By 'they', if you mean your bank, then you would need to contact your bank for this info.

My husband's comes through with his National Insurance number on - is the the 'mix of letters and numbers' you have?
