Kitchen Aid or Kenwood? do they do exactly the same?

I`m thinking of buying one of these but not sure which is the best, can someone help me please and explain? I have an ordinary Kenwood mixer but am limited with it and would love one of these. Can i justify the price ? can you use them for just about anything?:o
As you can see, i`ve no idea! lol

we have just bought a kitchenaid and it is brilliant. Very quiet and looks amazing (I think it looks better than the kenwood). The only drawback is that when you have to lift the top to raise the mixing attachment, it is fairly heavy. Having said that it does everything we want it to do and we are pleased we went for the Kitchenaid rather than the Kenwood. Amazon were doing the best deal when we got ours.

We were so pleased with the quality that we bought the Kitchenaid set of saucepans as well (which are superb).

I bought a Magimix food processor and absolutely love it. Very expensive but I see it as an investment. Came with lots of attachments, three different sized bowls and it is soooo quiet. My friend recommended the make to me she has the mixer and is really pleased with that.
You can justify the price if it is going to get used. What will you use it for?

  • Hi I am a newbie but long time lurker...just had to register to say that I have bought a gorgeous red kenwood patissier from amazon for £109 and its amazing and anywhere near as good as my rich friends kitchenaid,it is infact more powerful than the kitchenaid too so better for bulk baking. Hope that helps

It depends on what you want to use it for really. I was bought the kitchenaid a few years ago and it is fabulous, I think it looks brilliant too. A seriously stylish accessory to any kitchen but something that performs equally well! Lots of useful accessories too. I really love using mine and have yet to find any drawbacks other than the fact I constantly want to make things as an excuse to use it!
