Check if google have a cached copy of your listing, just type in your title, could save a lot of re-typing.0

i hate ebay, but it's the only decent marketplace for selling my wares.
if someone else can recommend a site where i can target teenagers between the ages of 12-19 and is better than ebay, i'd much appreciate it
thankshelpful tips

This is the key part - sadly, if you've only just listed, it's unlikey (though possible) that Google would have indexed your page.
But this is something that I feel eBay should be able to offer - when a listing is pulled due to a genuine mistake, a draft copy should still be available for you to amend.
I was in a similar situation recently where I was listing designer clothes on "Buy It Now or Best Offer". For some reason, I managed to miss the "listing type" on one pair of boots and listed it as an auction-style. Because my title said "Designer Boots etc etc... Make an Offer!", it got instantly pulled and I got exactly the same email as the OP because it looked like I was encouraging offers outside of eBay (not my intention at all).
All I needed to do was change the title but, because it has been completely pulled, I actually had to restart the listing from scratch, including uploading gallery pics, rewriting all my html... and, of course, you're never quite as enthusiastic the second time around!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

And back up regularly (Turbo Lister will usually prompt you every so often). I've had items mysteriously disappear from TL, but luckily most were in my backup database, so I only lost a few.Get in the habit of doing it all on turbo lister then you've always got another copy to work from.0 -
I've taken to doing mine in word first and making sure it's saved so that i've always got a copy! Had a lot of probs with power cuts when I was a student (housemates not topping up the meter) and found that word autosaves, whereas ebay does not!
**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

I tend to do the same... or rather, the opposite.
I create the listing in eBay and then when I have the fonts and colours the way I want them I copy and paste my entire description into a Word document and save it using the title I have given the auction.
That way if I come to sell a similar item again, I can just dig out the old listing and make a few changes. Saves a bit of time and also saves you seeking inspiration for what you can write about the item!
When you list on eBay I find you now have the option to save the listing as a template so you can use it again. I have never used it, nor have I ever listed using TurboLister, as I find my way works for me. I wonder if eBay would delete your template listing in addition to removing the 'offending' listing?0 -
Why don't you use Auctiva. Then you have a copy of your listing to use again if needed. Thanks for the replies - it's just sooo annoying when I sat and typed in hundreds of numbers to then find it's a waste of time.
I'm 'hhhmmppphhh'-ing even more at the thought that someone may have reported my listing - how cruel is that?!!
I was allowing people to choose as when you only need a handful to complete a collection, you don't really want to spend pounds and end up with even more doubles on a larger eBay lot.
Oh well, I give up... I'll re-write it/re-word it another time!
Thanks again x

I've tried Auctiva but kept having problems with it (often a partially completely listing would vanish and go back to a blank template) so I went back to Turbo Lister.0
