Insurance for UK holidays

Is it worth taking out travel insurance for a short break in the UK - coach trip? I never have before but wonder if I ought to. I do know enough not to take out the companies policy which is very expensive and have found a good rate - but do I really need it?

Well you obviously don't need it for medical cover as in the UK but it will no doubt cover you if anything happens to your luggage. You may want to take it if it covers you if something happens to the coach and the holiday is delayed. Really depends on what the policy you have found will cover you for

Helpful. I think I'll leave it as it's for such a short break. It's not expensive so even if the worst happens I won't lose much.
