Missing image from posting

The image I had inserted in my postings has dissappeared,I have gone back to the site,which is still up and running,and the image is there and working,I have redone the copying and pasting,but the image will still not appear,any ideas how to reinsert it?

This is what this link look's like in your profile, you need to remove the first "http://ww" then it should work fine:


Incidently, it doesn't work meaning there is a problem with the URL you are using.

Is this the image you wanted to use?

If it is, simply right click the image & select properties. You will then be able to see the correct URL for this image, and use this URL in your profile.

I have done what you suggested,still no image,I have deleted it from profile,gone back to the site,and started again,still no image,I have right clicked on your imageand reinserted it into my profile,still no image.I did nothing in the first instance for this image to be removed,but what am I now not doing right to reinstate it.

Right clicking on the box below your name with the red cross in shows this URL:

Insert By Tony - Looking at the URL you have copied & pasted it into the correct area of your profile, but you haven't fully deleted the incorrect profile.
You need to goto your profile and Delete this URL, and then Change your profile. If you then look below your name the red crossed box will be gone & there will be an empty space.

You can now go back into your profile & add this URL to you image link:

http://www.harrythecat.com/graphics/Z/gold1.gif as this is the URL to the image that you want to use, once again click on the Change Profile link. Now when you look below your name you will see the new image inserted & working correctly.

Derrick thankyou for flagging this one as I mentioned it but did'nt get a response it has happened - to others also ie: Poochy went missing for a while, I have lost my carrot
