Donate a Penny

Hi All,
After spending time in Kenya last year on my honeymoon I met some really nice people. Some of which shared their views and concerns about the current poltical problems within Kenya. They talked about how money was not shared evenly and the rich got richer. At the time I did not really appreciate how strongly they felt. It is only now with the current state of the country that I truly understand their anguish. Sitting and watching innocent civilians being chased with tear gas, beaten with sticks and in some cases shot just because they believe the elections were rigged compelled me to do something.
As the skills I have really only involve computers I thought about how I could raise money for a charity that would be supporting the Kenyan civilians. I decided to setup http://www.donateapenny.co.uk to raise money for Oxfam who are doing everything they can to help.
You can help too and it won’t cost you a penny, simply use http://www.donateapenny.co.uk as your search engine and this will raise money for charity. It is that simple. It does this by using the Google search engine so you will still get good research results and money is raised by using the Google advertising system.
I hope you can help and please pass this on to people you know so we can raise as much money as possible. For those who want more information on the trouble out there see the links below:
