-0.1% MoM. Not exactly Wall Street 1929. It's a rounding error.
YoY = RPI (roughly). No real change although those buying with debt should still be breaking even annually after cost of carry.0 -
FYI: HPI generally means house price INDEX, not house price INCREASE like people on this board take it to mean.0

perhaps they run it from the 15th to the 15th or something.... it doesnt really matter does it so long as they keep it the same :rolleyes:0 -
Its very interesting how the new buyer enquiries generally precedes the approvals.
Of course, just because you enquire, it doesn't mean that there will be an approval.
It will be good to see how the new enquiries affect the house sales:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

and if they had bought in January 2007 instead of waiting they could have saved nearly 7 grand!!!!!!! :beer:0 -
Only 7 grand!
At a rate of -2 grand a month (which the nationwide calls a "modest fall") only a couple more months until all gains since Jan 07 are totally wiped out. Thank god i'm not paying out dead money on mortgage interest!!0 -
