15 new messages?

I logged on to the ebay account belonging to the charity shop for which I volunteer, and it said we had 15 new messages. I looked and found 15 identical messages saying that a credit card had been added to the account (which I think my manager has recently done). I then went to my own account and it said I had 15 new messages, but when I opened My Messages there were no new messages at all. I checked my secondary account: same thing, 15 non-existent "new messages".
A while later I went back to my own account and it was (correctly) showing no new messages, but later again it said I had 15 new messages again.... guess what? I didn't. Is this sort of thing happening to anyone else here or is it just me?

I have had this.

When I log out of one account then into another in the same browser I have the same messages as in the first account (even though there is none in the 2nd account).

I think it's just an ebay 'glitch'... nothing to worry about.

i get this all the time. It is a cookies problem, just delete the cookies on your pc

i get it every day, not 15 though, just 1 or 2 if the account i was previously logged in to had 1 or 2

I just found more "credit card added" e-mails on the charity account. We've now had at least 34 identical messages in 2 days!
