When you receive your card check the details very carefully. My name was misspelt on mine, which could easily have been missed. I phoned the number they give you and was told I'd receive a replacement card in 3-4 weeks' time.
Better that than find you can't get free treatment when you're in a foreign country because of some "technicality" with your details.0 -

The deal from www.egg.com that gave free one year's travel insurance for the
whole family was brilliant offer that run before the summer holidays. You just had to take out the home insurance (which was very cheap for me ).Also they were doing a £15 deal for the travel insurance for all the family (europe only)so do check out the website if you need to renew in the next 9-12 months. You maybe pleasantly surprised. Also remember to go as a new customer at renewal to get another year's free if they run it.0 -
Subscribers over on the Holiday Truths web-site have been reporting that the expiatory date of their cards have been anything from 2008 to 2010. An explanation for this has just emerged. The reason for this spread of dates is so that all the renewals don't all come at once, and cause the system to crash. Glad to see that someone in the appropriate department has been doing some forward planning! What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
