I think the problem is that someone doesn't sit there and dial your number as such... it's all done by telephone systems at Egg.. and when you answer it will probably be a recorded message telling you what you have to do etc etc..

If you ring them and sort it out they will stop ringing you, and if you don't want the same in the future you could change your number with them?

  • I have been having the same problem. There seems to be no communication at Egg amongst each other.

I did not ignore the calls. I missed a payment (waiting for a huge claim to come back from Tesco Personal Finance for my dog so fell behind). I spoke to Egg at beginning of January saying I will be making 1 payment on 21/1 and then final payment on 31/1. They said fine. I still had call after call. I even emailed them saying please stop calling me I will make the payments as agreed. I made the first payment on 21/1 like I said I would. Still got call after call. I even emailed them to ask them to stop calling me and not to call me at work. Still this carried on. I made the last payment as I had said on 31/1. I am still getting call after call cause I am apparently £8 over my limit. Well I have paid that but do feel that Egg is harrasing. Yes I fell behind on my payments - but I did make the payments as agreed.

So all you people who say don't ignore it call them and get it sorted - Egg still keep on harrasing you! And if you reply to my post saying you shouldn't have missed your payment - get a life!
