hi
we have recently been given a dishwasher which i would like to try and fit myself.
the space for it is next to the washing machine but there are no extra conections for it.
what do i need to buy so that i can split the cold water supply so that it can be used for the washing machine and the dishwasher and also to what part do i need to split the drainage outlet as would like to make the drainage pipe cover both items too.
all help and advice appreciated
Thankyou

What does the washing machine drain into at present? Is it an open pipe or a connection on the sink waste? You may already have a spare waste connection on the sink waste if you are lucky. Look at this as an example:
