Beware Ryanair "Check&Go" printed passes

Printed off the Check & Go Boarding passes at home & inadvertantly completely detached it from the customer copy bit. Admittedly it does say in very small writing "partially tear". Because the two parts had become completely detached (even though I presented both parts the airport staff made me check in again at £3 pp. What a rip off. Is this another way that Ryanair make money???
