Good websites/forums for advice on renovating?

Options
We are (hopefully!) about to exchange on the house we are buying after a long and painful year. It is a late Victorian house which has been part-modernised (laminate floors etc) but still has original features such as picture rails and cornicing. We will need to gradually replace the kitchen, bathrooms etc as well as decorate throughout. We will probably go for more modernisation rather than try to restore it back to the Victorian style (sorry if that's controversial for some :embarasse ) but will keep the picture rails etc.
Does anyone know of any good DIY forums (apart from this one of course :D) or websites where we might get some good advice along the way? I have found Bricks and Brass but that seems to be geared more towards restoring than renovating. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Rather than read loads of forums, I found a quik way for seeing what we wanted to achieve, simply by putting search in Google Images, for say 'white kitchens, or blue front doors & you'll have millions of examples, then follow back from there!!

& this is what happens when you do what Doozergirl tells you (she'll be along in aminute!!) www.theupsidedownhouse.9f.com

    Have fun!!

Thanks to you both. Those 2 forums look great, CN and I hadn't thought of using Google like that. Mind you, your website put the fear of God in me - especially the ripping out section!!!!!!!!!!
