Payment troubles with Abbey credit card

in Credit cards
Hi folks,
I wondered if I could run something past you all about my Abbey credit card, which I opened with them in November 2007.
For a long time I didn't receive my first statement then, after Christmas - January 2nd to be precise - my statement turned up.
They wanted a minimum payment due by DECEMBER 29TH!! Which was obviously impossible because the statement hadn't even turned up in time.
I immediately wrote to them to complain about this - I didn't want my credit rating affected, or the chance of losing my promotional balance transfer rate.
My 2nd statement turned up a couple of days later, showing a £12 late payment fee which I was furious about, as you can imagine.
Now, after the letter and then calling up to complain to somebody in person, they have refunded my £12 fee - however, I asked them to clarify what would happen to my credit score as I didn't want a late payment showing up.
He said they Experian (or one of the others) would 'see that I'd had my late payment fee refunded' and this would be put on my record. So does anybody here know if that means it won't be a bad tick against my name, or do I have to go further to ensure that this doesn't go against me?
Hope this all makes sense, please give any advice if you have any
