Jobseekers Allowance Contributory Based Help

I have been unemployed for 6 months follow falling on hard times which I dont really want to go into. I have always worked so for the past six months I have been claiming jobseekers allowance contributory based. When I first claimed jobseekers allowance I applied for a social fund grant to help me get on my feet again and was turned down due to the fact I was now in receipt of contributory based job seekers allowance. Last week I had to fill in a change of circumstances form because my contributory based job seeekers had run out, I am now in receipt of income based job seekers allowance.
My question if anybody can help me is I have just moved into my own place (rented accomodation) and any money from anywhere would help at the minute. For things like furniture etc. However I looked at some forms for a budgeting loan and the forms state you have to be in receipt of income based job seekers allownace for 26 weeks. If I am now still not entitled to any additional help this seems not be fair as I have always worked previously.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks In advance

You should ask about a Crisis Loan.
They are available to anyone whether or not they claim a benefit.
You can apply download the application form online:
