Hi,
I know im asking the same as many others at the minute but i just would like a few opinions based on my situation.
We sold our house last april and got a good price( i think !! )
We sold it fast and didnt find anywhere we liked in that time so we moved in to my partners parents house. They are fine with it and say we can stay as long as we want.
So we are saving a good bit at the minute.
I am desperatly searching for a house but they say i should try and wait abit longer!
What is your opinions??
Thanks
Lauren

Rent. Say "thanks very much for being there for us, but you are right, we should wait a bit longer... and I know you love having us here, as we have loved being here, but I think it's time we rented somewhere before we get too comfortable. And I'm sure you'd appreciate having your house back to yourself again. So I've got the paper here and we will start looking around to rent because with prices falling it could be 2-3 years before we're gone otherwise."0

Rent or Squat.
Only an idiot would buy at the start of a crash.Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0 -
awwww what is it that we pick on in-laws? haha!
if youre happy with where you are, then whats the rush? make the most of it and enjoy doing things that you normally wouldnt once paying for a mortgage etc. go off out, take a holiday abroad, i dont mean to overspend and waste any profits you have, theres time enough to tie yourself to another property, and i think its best to wait as well, but thats my opinion x0 -
