hmm have been reading through all the stuff on the chatting. it is hard for newbies to catch up, but I don't think 2 threads would work. "passion8" suggested marking 'chat' posts as OFF TOPIC, but what about posting offers in red/blue text so that they can be easily seen, and also crazyposhgal can see them more easily? that way all the explanations of the offers are seated within the chat around them?? Only a thought

I personally love the chatter, and don't think this group is clickey like some on forums. we welcome one and all, even if you've got 6 heads and 3 noses..... we could probably reccomend a no7 potion to make all 6 heads look younger too :D

    :T :rotfl: :rotfl:

loving the last para......made me lol xx

feefeelalabelle started a no chat thread this morning.....here

I think the fact that it had 762 views and only 4 posts and slipped to page 3 of the forum shows that it would not work. No offence or slight meant to feefeelalabelle as I appreciate she meant well.

But....the point is that all our chat keeps this thread at the top of the forum and that's where we want it to find the latest glitches, bargains, tips etc.

People just need to get used to checking Post No. 1 regularly.

There was a lovely big round box of protect and perfect products I haven't noticed before, and maybe it was there and I've never noticed. It has
the full sized P&P serum and travel sizes of the
day cream, night cream, eye cream as well as travel sizes of the lighten and brighten age spot corrector, younger, longer hand cream, soft and smoothed gentle toner, soft and smoothed gentle cleanser. Completely quenched moisture lotion and cleanse and care eye makeup remover

It is £20 and I used my £5 off voucher and picked up the gwp.

I think the box together with the gwp make a lovely mother's day present for £15

Forgot to say earlier that obviously you can get the free highlighter with this.
So if you take the 250 coupon out of the drawer of the gwp, that's if you don't think your mum will use it (thanks scrappy) - you will have a fabulous mothers day present of a whole range of protect and perfect, jewellery box gwp, and the highlights powder.

Costing you £15 and giving you 385pts - so a net cost of £11.15 for a great pressie and also a new £5 off coupon so you can start all over again on the mother-in-law:rotfl:
  • Just read a post by nilsr about buying a 90% off item that had gone back up to full price today. Same thing happened to me with a No 7 compact (which I only wanted for the 200 points voucher inside ;) ) and SA had to manually mark it down to £1.60. So does this mean the 90% off sale is now over? Am pretty sure some stores still have xmas paper to get rid of!! Anyone else had trouble today with 90% off?

    Poundsinbucks x :D

Just wanted to add my twopenceworth that I am also a new user to the boards and enjoy reading everything you write, glitches, chat, shopping etc!
We are all a little obsessed with BOOTSING but the fun is not just the shopping; for me its b:rolleyes:  the fact there are others like me out there!!!!!!
Today I scoured the smaller Boots in the 2 railway stations in Glasgow city centre for Q10 (which I tried last night and really liked, I was pleasantly surprised as I dont use creams and never have)and there is none. I did spy a previous GWP of a purple bag filled with NO 7 goodies and vouchers(out of date though!) and it was priced at £6.50. I asked if I could use a £5 no 7 voucher and they said yes. The till had to be overridden though!
Money is only of any use if you can spend it!

    Hi everyone!
Just wanted to make a point in reply to several people who have complained about too much "cliquey" chat in relation to this forum.

I am only a recent newbie myself and have found people to be very welcoming. At first it does seem like people are cliquey but I have had most of my questions answered and when I don't I just presume people don't know.

I had a glance at all the rules re. the forums when I joined and found it hard to work out what is allowed as far as chat is concerned. Personally I love the chat and banter on this forum and is one of the reasons I have been glued to it, e.g. "Was that you in Boots today with the grey fleece?" - I love it ! I am also guilty of making daft, jokey comments. But I am realising now that there are some people who think this is irrelevant nonsense and frown upon it - oops! I didn't realise this at first as I thought the forum had always been like this and chat was allowed.

I suppose everyone is different and you can't please all the people all the time but just wanted to say I love this thread ! I find that even though it is long it is really easy to scan through the ones that don't apply to you. I think even the chatty comments are mostly relevant, and it would be awful if people felt inhibited about putting comments on here.

Maybe people could comment on whether they like the chatty comments or not? (Thanks also to everyone for all their help in my bargain hunting - you are all great!). :T
I don't think this forum is cliquey! I've been reading it for a couple of months but only plucked up the courage (helped by the wine I was spending my Friday evening with!) to post a message on Friday evening (so apologies and please bear with me if I haven't quite got the hang of quoting/replying etc yet! . I've had welcome messages and helpful replies to some questions so I think you're all lovely (and no, I haven't started drinking today- yet!)
