In the Clearance section in Prospect Centre they had a few Boots Mediterranean Sets which consisted of: 200 ml of almond, wheatgerm & milk Body Wash, 200 ml of almond, pistachio & milk Body Butter, and 400 ml of almond, pistachio & olive Body Scrub. They were in a brown corrugated type box - measured about 12" x 12" (maybe bigger!) and had the see through window on the top. The cost was £2.50 so a bargain as the other fragrance (forgotten the name of it, oops) was marked down to £6.75 from about a tenner I think.

I bought one as a very nice SA said the Body Butter was the best she'd used (and it wasn't just sales patter imo) BUT, for all Bootsers, she also said it was only on the clearance section because the packaging was being changed, so maybe it might go nationwide? Worth a browse imo, but the best bit was when it went through the till, it was reduced by another 84p so cost was £1.66 ....!! They were flying off the (very small) shelf, but being stocked up all the time.

Yesterday they also had L'Oreal PerfectSlim Leg Relief reduced to £5.49 - today it was a quid!! Can't wait to use it as I buy a lot of leg cooling preparations.

Also, there'd been a price glitch on Eau Thermale Avene Hydrance Optimale, (hydrating cream with a free Avene Water spray) so although it should have been reduced to £6.49 from whatever it was, they were honouring the sticker price of £1 ....!

Lots of bits and bobs reduced where it looked like they'd split gift packs up - I'll try to remember what there was and post later.

I know the last few things wont benefit a lot of people, but I'd recommend looking out for the Mediterranean Sets in corrugated boxes.

Quick reminder: Boots in Beverley were still repleneshing the tiny make-up shelf - noticed some lip gloss with a lipstick going for £1 but still £8.99 in Prospect Centre. I'll try to remember which one it was.

I'll be amending the draft of my complaint to Boots after today ;), even though the highlighter offer was still a problem for both stores. They've really clamped down on it, and I heard the SA saying that it had been mentioned on telly, but it wasn't to be sold with tanning wipes. I nearly LOL :)

Used a couple of the £5 vouchers I was given on the men's Wake-up Face Wash which costs £6, so got 2 for £2.00

    HTH someone x

Are the free gifts just positioned on the counter to pick up or do the SA get them for you?
Need to get everything right before I go for it.

the other codes (found on the parenting club area of the website) wont work with staff discount

So say I get a mascara, the highlighter to make it upto £20, I put the free gift through, then hand over the voucher to knock it down to just the price of the mascara plus the gift? I hope I've got the guts to do this tomorrow! I want the No17 GWP and the Max Factor...more spending for me then.

100 points with dream mascara would be good with this as well. £1 off no 17 with coupon out of christmas no 17 and points coupon with mag.
