Tesco Garden Furniture Half Price

Yes I went today at 8.30am. I told the assistant that a friend has got the same at half price and then took the bar codes to customer services. Did you just rely on what the assistant told you or confirm the prices from the bar codes?

Think I'm gonna try the North Harbour and Bursledon ones tomorrow although I don't think the NH one had much stock the last time i was in.

Edit : Just to confirm though, it was only the chairs that were still half price not the gateleg table.

Took the bar code to customer services and confirmed that the tables were only at sales price bank holiday monday. No chairs in stock so couldn't try these out. Ah well win some lose some. Good luck in Portsmouth

I went to Swansea Marina store and table and chairs full price - but plenty of stock. I told them that the Fforestfach store had them 1/2 price (per a friend) she said the offer only applied to Extra stores. Customer services rang Fforestfach Extra and they put a table and four chairs one side for me until hubby could collect in the evening.

Met him at the store tonight at 8pm to make sure he got the right stuff. Loads of round tables 1/2 price (piled high) but no chairs left now. The oblong table not reduced.

I did ask Customer services in the smaller store for HO number if Extra store wouldn't hold for me. I was really nice to her and just said I would be annoyed if I paid full price there to find 4 miles away they were 1/2 price with same company. She agreed. As it happened I didn't need to ring HO but it might be worth trying if smaller stores have stock at full price to make them sell to you at 1/2 price.

ps we struggled getting table into Xantia Estate. Had to take out of box too.

Edited to say: While in Fforestfach by the wrapping paper loads of gift wrap and gift bags reduced. Bought 2 sheets of Simpson wrapping paper and tags for 24p and bottle bags just 18p

Just been down to Wrexham Tesco Extra store, no stock there. Had to stop off at Boots to stock up on Little Me range (found out last night that we will be grandparents again in Jan 2006) to stop myself getting withdrawal symptoms. So am happy now.

Staff at Tesco's Extra advised that these will probably be on special offer again but couldn't say when. Should think it won't be until at least August?

It was like a cattle stampede at my local Tesco, only a few out on display and missed out on the rush. Had my store spy who said that some were being held back for staff! Twisted a few arms and managed to get table and 4 chairs - good quality and good price. Check that they are not holding them back for staff.

Both tables and chairs still half price on Tuesday @ Tescos WArrington we bought 4 chairs and table on Monday but couldnt get table in our car didnt want to pay delivery charge of twenty pounds so the security man deliveried it for a fiver !!!!

I believe this was a popular forum during the last bank holiday when Tesco reduced their prices for one day.

However, it seems that the Worcester garden furniture range is now half price during the Tesco Sale.

The Henley range which is glass and metal construction was also retailing at half price.
