I am going to lower my ceiling in bathroom using 3x2,i plan on screwing a frame onto the walls then run 3x2 off this my room is roughly 10x10, i plan on using 1200x900 boards(or is it 1220)am i right is saying that each support should be 16" centres or is it 15",Alo could you tell me if the 900 runs on the parallel lengths or does it not matter

its 1220x900 baseboard.
and you use 16 inch centres. assuming your using the longest PB dimension.
ie either 2440 or 1220mm.
if you use the 900 then you will need to work out your centres from that.
(18 inches?)
ps.
also if using a 10ft span, i would use some extra support from the ceiling as a precaution. ie some piano wire and hooks.Get some gorm.0 -
