I've just come off the phone to FD after explaining about the valuations. Nope, they still aren't interested and will be carrying out their own (which I understood, but thought the extra info might sway them on my application).

We'll see what they do then. My son put in a covering letter saying that he had been advised to include the valuation and not fill out the valuation form.

To the people who have had a call back from FD does it tend to be office hours when they ring?

    Thanks

If you don't have too many beers and can get up early in the morning ;) you may get to speak to someone if you call at 8 am. I got lucky then, as did a few others

Yes my son was one of them. I doubt they will do too many callbacks at 8am in the morning so they might just be available.

yes its you I have to thank for getting through. I was awake at 5 (but the 3 children were asleep) so I tried then. Was told to ring back at 8 but my youngest needed feeding so I only got to ring at 8.20. Told them I was told to ring at 8, a lovely guy understood my predicament about trying to hold a conversation whilst WW3 raged (aka 3 chlildren under 4) and went through most of it with me. Then at 9 a Mortgage consultant rang back, and we were done in about 15 mins:T

If I paid the £299 booking fee for £X and they decided I couldn't afford it, would they offer less or just reject your application?
